Medical Center is seeking a Psychiatry Residency Program Director to join their team in western PA.
Highlights:
- Candidate will be involved with the development, implementation, and oversight of our new psychiatric residency training program of 4 residents
- The position will be a combination of administrative and clinical duties, including predominantly outpatient as well as inpatient or a combination of both
- Weekday call is currently being handled / weekend call will be estimated to be 1:8
- The group provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services to include both adult, child and adolescent services, a robust consultation liaison service for the hospital, a MAT program and medical education
- The Department is involved in teaching family practice residents, medical students, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and social work interns
- An ECT program will be added
- The candidate will have at least five years of clinical experience and board certification
- Prior experience running a residency training program in psychiatry is desired
