Nocturnist Opening in North Carolina-Located in North Wilkesboro, NC.-Seeking a Nocturnist with training in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine to join our dynamic inpatient team.-130 licensed beds, including a 10-bed skilled nursing unit on campus.What We Have to Offer: -CME Reimbursement: $5000 annually -Comprehensive Benefits Package: includes competitive salary, health, dental, vision, retirement plans and more -Work/Life Balance: Enjoy schedule of 7 nights on/7 nights off, with 5 shifts off service annually-Relocation Assistance: Receive up to $10,000 in relocation assistance, paid within the first 30 days of employment Position Information: -Full-time, clinical adjunct faculty position -Primarily admitting responsibilities -Perform perioperative management and pre-op risk assessments for orthopedic/ surgical patients -Help with floor cross coverage from Virtual Hospitalist group-Strong support from medical and surgical specialties -VCC covers ICU at nights-Respond to Rapid Responses and CODES -Coordinating with Nursing Staff and responding to questions/concerns overnight -Provide appropriate hand-off/sign-out at the conclusion of their shift to the day team -Procedural skills not required -EMR- EPICPosition Requirements: -Graduate of an accredited medical school and ACGME-accepted Internal Medicine/Family Medicine residency program. -Board Eligible or Board Certified in IM/FM. -Active license to practice as physician from NC Medical Board. -BLS/ACLS certification.
