Pediatrix Medical Group is expanding its Neonatology services in the vibrant city of Appleton, Wisconsin! This is an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist to join a brand new practice within a state-of-the-art facility. Collaborate in a supportive environment committed to family-centered healthcare!
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to cover the newborn nursery and provide quality healthcare.
- Manage a team of 4 Neonatologists covering a Level 3 NICU and Newborn Nursery.
- Work on a schedule of 24/7 in-house coverage and day rounding.
- Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and clinical research projects.
- Exchange best practices and ideas with a network of over 400 NICUs and thousands of Pediatrix providers.
- Open to all board-certified/eligible Neonatologists, including newly-graduated fellows.
Qualifications
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- Willing to obtain a Wisconsin medical license.
- Completed fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine prior to start date.
- Recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active).
- DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
License and Certification Requirements
- Fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (to be completed prior to start).
- Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Neonatology.
- Wisconsin medical license (or willing to obtain).
