Position Details
- Full-time role providing medical management for new admissions and follow-up care
- Monday Friday schedule
- Daily patient volume:
- Limited call: 1 night per week + 1 weekend per month (phone only; respond within 15 minutes)
- Call duties include addressing overnight medical concerns, giving verbal orders, and reviewing new admission histories no onsite presence required
- Intake/Nursing team manages admission logistics; NP reviews history and orders continuation or initiation of medications (e.g., antibiotics)
- Internal Medicine team completes all H&Ps within 24 hours of admission
