Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Stepdown and Floor unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a typical MedSurg population, including patients with chest pain, COPD, pneumonia, UTIs, and abdominal pain. The role involves monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care and ensure patient safety in a healthcare setting.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist during interventions.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Must have the ability to read telemetry strips.
- Experience in a stepdown or critical care unit preferred.
