Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor, Newborn, and Postpartum role in Eastern Montana, requiring a MT or compact RN license and specialized certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in a combined Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum unit
- Care provided to laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborn infants
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration
- Day shifts (06:45–19:00) and night shifts (18:45–07:00) available
- 13-week contract assignment
- Responsibilities include patient triage, performing NSTs, assisting as the second nurse at deliveries, and managing overflow patients
- Must collaborate effectively with physicians, pediatricians, and healthcare team
- No COVID-19 vaccination requirement specified
- Immediate or negotiated start dates accepted
Requirements
- Active MT or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year labor-trained RN experience
- Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE
- Intermediate or above Fetal Monitoring certification required
