Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant opportunity in Frederick, MD (Days, Nights, and Swing shifts available)

Excellent opportunity to join a resilient team of 22 physicians and 10 APPs who work closely with other hospital staff and departments to bring our patients the best possible quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a day clinician in the observation unit, your responsibilities will encompass admitting, rounding, and discharging patients.
• The observation unit is very fast-paced, and we are looking for individuals who can handle an ever-changing environment.
• Our hospitalist team is pivotal in the rapid response team, and the intensivist team manages codes. All team members are certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support. There are no procedural requirements.
• We work in Meditech Expand, a web-based system with access to our internal informatics platform.
• We are entertaining candidates looking for full-time, part-time, and PRN shifts.

Flexible Scheduling:

• Shifts for the day rounding position are scheduled from 7 am to 7 pm
• Shifts for the swing position are scheduled from 11 am to 11 pm and 3 pm to 3 am for admissions
• Shifts for the night position in observation is scheduled from 7 pm to 7 am for admissions, rounding, and discharges.

Rewards and Benefits:

• Compensation:
  • Day shift $140,000 to $150,000 yearly, plus incentives.
  • Swing shift $145,000 to $155,000 yearly, plus incentives.
  • Nocturnist shift $150,000 to $165,000 yearly, plus incentives.

Qualifications:
