- Patient Volume: 0-5 per shift
- Admissions: 2-5 per shift
- Call Back Rate: 20%
Required Skills:
The provider must be proficient in:
- General surgery procedures such as laparoscopic surgery, appendectomy, and hernioplasty
- Endoscopic procedures (upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy)
- Diagnostic and therapeutic scopes
- Basic trauma management
- Minor orthopedic and vascular surgery
Additional Details:
- Trauma Level: Level IV
- EMR System: eCW & MedHost
- Board Eligibility: Board-eligible candidates accepted; certification preferred but not required
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approx. 3 days once application is submitted
- Support Staff: TBD; no teaching or resident supervision required
Licensure and Certifications:
- Active Utah license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) eligibility required
- ACLS certification required; BLS, PALS, ATLS not required
