Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Medical Intermediate (Telemetry Stepdown) night shift position requiring a current MO or compact license and recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Medical Intermediate unit of a hospital setting
- Primary patient population includes cardiac stepdown and telemetry cases
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Assignment length is 26 weeks
- Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed and must be made up during the assignment
- Local candidates within 50 miles are considered at a reduced rate and subject to consecutive contract limitations
- Staff within 50 miles may only complete up to three consecutive 13-week contracts at a local facility before a required separation or relocation
- Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
- Employment history must be free of significant gaps as specified
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac intermediate, telemetry, or a comparable specialty
- No employment gaps greater than 90 days in the past 12 months
- Current certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment unless documentation of renewal is provided
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number is required
