Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatrics position requiring NICU experience and a Maryland or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatrics unit of a hospital setting
- Patient population includes pediatric, NICU, PCU, prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, iatrogenic NAS, and patients with tracheostomies
- Preferred experience with step-down pediatric care and various neonatal conditions
- Rotating schedule with day and night 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- May be required to float to the main hospital location in Baltimore
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Responsibilities include care for children with complex medical and surgical needs
- Must be flexible with floating as needed
Requirements
- Active MD RN or compact state RN license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience required
- NICU experience required
- Experience with pediatric tracheostomies required
