Job Details – Med/Surg RN Travel Contract

• Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
• Location: Denton, Texas 76210 (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,260 - $1,350
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
