The role involves a demanding schedule including night and weekend calls with support from multidisciplinary clinical staff. The surgeon will perform procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic aneurysm repairs, and thoracic surgeries, supporting high ER volume and diverse patient ages.
Coverage Needed ASAP - Ongoing 12-18 Months Schedule 8am-5pm Night Call 4:30pm-7am Weekend Call 4:30pm on Friday to 7am on Monday Clinical Details 100,000 Annual ER Volume Level 1 Trauma Facility Average Number of Cases Per Day: 1-2 Adult, Geriatric Requirements Board Certified ACLS/BLS Provider must be local Open to three cites Fellowship - trained Scope of Services Required: Adult Cardiac Surgery, General Thoracic Surgery Aortic Surgery Procedures Required: Descending Aortic Aneurysms Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery Procedures Required: CABG, Arterial Revascularization (Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery and Gastroepiploic Artery), Redo Coronary Revascularization (With or Without Heart Valve Surgery), Off-Pump CABG, Pericardial Window, Thoracic aortic aneurysms, Thoracoabdominal aneurysms, Tracheostomy Call Night and Weekend 1 Weekend per month of coverage Support Staff Perfusion; nursing; OR PA's, NP's EMR EPIC
