American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a NC or compact license, EKG competency, and at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the ICU of a short-term acute care hospital setting
- Patient assignments with ratios of 1:2-3
- Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital environment
- Floating within scope to similar units required as needed
- Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00) including every other weekend
- Uses Epic for charting
- Royal blue and white scrubs required
- Return travelers must have at least one year since last assignment at this facility
- Maximum of two contracts allowed before a six-month break is required to return
- Level III trauma and teaching environment with large team structure
- Time-off requests are per manager's discretion
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Must pass EKG exam with no exceptions
- First-time travelers considered at manager discretion based on experience
- Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility
- Pending licenses not accepted
