JOB REQUIREMENTS - Licenses: Active Virginia NP or PA license required
- Board: Applicable national certification for NP or PA
- DEA: Active DEA required
- Certifications: Emergency medicinerelated certifications per facility standards
- Experience: Emergency department experience required
- Other Qualifications: Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages
- Cover emergency department shifts at both facilities as needed
- Manage patient flow and clinical decision-making in a Level III Trauma Center
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services
- Document all encounters accurately in Meditech EMR
