Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend (Saturday-Sunday nights)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and identify changes in condition early
- Provide advanced monitoring and timely nursing interventions for moderately unstable patients
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit
- Document care accurately and communicate clear handoffs to the team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and discharge needs
- Escalate concerns appropriately and advocate for patient safety at all times
Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS required (GSR PCU 2S)
- PCU experience preferred; basic EKG skills preferred
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (CAP moderate complexity testing requirement)
- Ability to work night shifts and contribute positively to a team-oriented unit
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (verification required)

- Patient assessment and clinical prioritization
- Advanced monitoring and interpretation of trends
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) protocols and nursing interventions
- Basic EKG interpretation
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
