Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend (Saturday-Sunday nights)

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and identify changes in condition early
  • Provide advanced monitoring and timely nursing interventions for moderately unstable patients
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit
  • Document care accurately and communicate clear handoffs to the team
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plans, and discharge needs
  • Escalate concerns appropriately and advocate for patient safety at all times

Qualifications

  • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission
  • Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
  • AHA ACLS and NIHSS required (GSR PCU 2S)
  • PCU experience preferred; basic EKG skills preferred
  • Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required (CAP moderate complexity testing requirement)
  • Ability to work night shifts and contribute positively to a team-oriented unit

Education
