Job DescriptionThe Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care for patients in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring high standards of nursing practice and patient management. The role requires extensive Med/Surg Telemetry experience and proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
- Monitor and assess patients' health status through vital signs and telemetry monitoring.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Document patient care in the charting system accurately and promptly.
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Must have a permanent Ohio nursing license or a valid compact state license.
- One reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty required for submission.
