Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with hand therapy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care hospital setting with both inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Flexible schedule with either 5 x 8 hour shifts or 4 x 10 hour shifts
- Day shift position; must work Fridays
- One Saturday morning required for post-operative orthopedic patient coverage
- No on-call requirements
- Duties include evaluating and treating a diverse patient population in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Environment supports flexibility and collaboration among therapy staff
- Must provide care to post-operative orthopedic patients as needed on Saturday mornings
- Current CV and completed skills checklist required for consideration
Requirements
- Current state Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
- Hand therapy experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing needs
