In this vital position, you will perform a variety of radiological assessments, including CT, MRI, US, and fluoroscopy, with a primary focus on emergency and neuro cases. Your expertise in stroke imaging, CT perfusion, and abdominal/pelvis exams is highly valued. The role promises varied shifts between early mornings, evenings, and weekends, ensuring a dynamic workweek that accommodates your lifestyle.
Required Skills:
- Valid medical license to practice radiology inFlorida
- Board certification or eligibility in Radiology
- Proficiency in interpreting CT, MRI, XR, US, and fluoroscopy studies
- Experience with stroke imaging (CT perfusion) and neuro cases
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of emergency radiology workflows
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience working remotely in a similar capacity
- Familiarity with coding and documentation for stroke and neuro exams
- Prior experience in trauma or emergency radiology settings
- Additional certifications in advanced imaging techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Minimum of 3 years post-residency clinical experience in radiology
- Prior locum or teleradiology experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Travel reimbursements and licensure support available where applicable
