Job Summary:
Mission Children s is seeking a pediatric neurologist to be part of our innovative pediatric team of subspecialists located in Asheville, North Carolina.
Qualified Candidates:- BC/BE by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology with Special Qualification in pediatric neurology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in North Carolina
Position Highlights:- Strong support within a comprehensive pediatric subspecialist team, including pediatric hospitalists and intensivists
- Primarily clinic based (80%) with consults in the hospital (20%)
- Ability to see and average of 12-16 patients per day
- 19 dedicated pediatric beds
- 9 PICU beds
- 51 Level III NICU beds

- Home to the Olson Huff Center for Child Development, providing ongoing therapy and medical services for children with developmental delays
- A member of the Children s Oncology Group, providing the national standard for pediatric cancer care.
