Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine
Join us in Houston, Texas, where a warm community awaits you! We re looking for dedicated General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Our practice fosters a supportive environment focused on serving our nation's Veterans.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams.
- Perform separation health assessments with an emphasis on interviews and some physical evaluations.
- Complete reports and any necessary addendums in a timely manner.
- Workup to days (4 hours) or full days (8 hours) as required.
- Quick credentialing and onboarding process.
- Opportunity to work from your own office or at a designated location within the vicinity.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
- Ownership of a laptop (Windows-based no Mac/Apple products).
- Active AANP certification.
- Active and unrestricted full medical license in New Hampshire.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Ability to provide current address on CV for presentation.
- Experience working in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in New Hampshire.
- AANP certification required.
- Certification with DMA preferred but not mandatory at the time of application.
