- Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 (excluding holidays); on-call coverage includes weeknights 1530-0700, weekends, and holidays as specified
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver professional anesthetic services for operating room surgical cases and other procedures as needed
- Respond to emergency situations requiring anesthetic care in any area of the facility
- Consult and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia staff on patient care matters
- Ensure patients receive appropriate and effective anesthetic management
- Review and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with documentation protocols
- Complete all patient documentation prior to shift completion and resolve any delinquent charts before contract end
- Adhere to quality assurance standards under the supervision of the Chief of Anesthesia or designee
- Utilize electronic health records for all patient documentation
- Follow technical direction and guidance as provided by designated officials
Additional Information
- Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a minimum of 52 weeks of relevant experience
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Must be licensed to practice in any state
