Travel ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Rhinelander, WI 54501 – Northern Wisconsin healthcare facility
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel nursing contract)
• Start Date: October 13, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Holiday/Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Floating: Float to similar units and other Aspirus healthcare locations within a 40-mile radius as needed
• Charting: EPIC electronic health record (EHR) preferred
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100 - $2250

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Current AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Critical access or rural hospital nursing experience highly preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Ability to float to similar units and other healthcare facilities as needed

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting
• Care for a diverse patient population, including occasional pediatric surgical patients
• Maintain a 1:2 ICU patient ratio; may float to Stepdown Care Unit (SCU) with a 1:4 ratio
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document care and interventions using EPIC EHR (preferred)
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Participate in scheduled weekend and holiday rotations
• Float to similar units and other Aspirus healthcare locations within a 40-mile radius as needed
