RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour weekend shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Call requirements average 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every 8 weeks
• Must have Alaska RN license prior to submission
• Required certifications: Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS
• Experience needed in Orthopedic procedures, Total Joints, Neurosurgery, and Robotics
• Function as patient advocate and circulator while being a resource for the sterile field
• Experience as circulator preferred, scrub experience and CNOR certification preferred
• Work with variety of OR beds and equipment
• Use Epic EMR system
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Handle typical procedures including Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, and variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)
• Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes, or plastic surgery
• Must demonstrate positive outlook and willingness to work collaboratively with team members
• 13-week assignment length
Facility:
This healthcare facility features 11 operating rooms located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital building. The operating room department maintains varying staff levels depending on the day, with an average of 8 RNs, 8 scrub techs, and 5 surgical support techs during day shifts. Night shifts operate with one charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup. The facility specializes in complex surgical procedures and utilizes advanced technology including Xi Robotic systems for various surgical specialties.
