Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts in the MSICU
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 6-week contract
• Weekend requirements: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed (Friday/Saturday for night shifts)
• Holiday rotation required for observed holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day
• Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
• No on-call or call back requirements, but additional shifts may be available for sick calls
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN license
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, plus Med/Surg experience and travel experience
• Must be competent in ICU and MedSurg skills
• Care for medical and surgical patients including joint replacements and general surgical patients
• Unit has 11 beds for covid patients separated from other patient rooms
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Scrub color requirement: dark blue
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of nonbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call during low census periods
• Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and covid vaccination
