24-Hour Shifts No In-Hospital Overnight Call

Seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist for a locum tenens position to provide 24-hour coverage at our Level II+ NICU. Join a collaborative, supportive team providing high-quality neonatal care in a well-resourced setting.

Block 1: Monday, July 21, 8 AM Friday, August 1, 8 AM

• ON: July (Mon Tue), July (Fri Sun), July (Wed Thu)

• OFF: July , July

Block 2: Monday, August 25, 8 AM Friday, September 5, 8 AM

• ON: Aug (Mon Tue), Aug (Fri Sun), Sept 3 4 (Wed Thu)

• OFF: Aug , Sept 1 2

Shifts:

• 24-hour coverage: 8 AM 6 PM on-site, overnight call from home

• 7 total shifts spread across each 1.5-week block

• NICU Level: Level II+

• Beds: 15-bed NICU with an average daily census (ADC) of 4.5

• Mother-Baby Unit ADC: 11 (Assist with rounding based on census)

• EMR: Cerner

• Delivery Attendance: On request

• Supervision: No supervisory duties required

• Pediatricians

• Specially trained nursery nurses

• Lactation consultants

• Respiratory therapists

• Social workers

• Board Certified in NeonatologyRequired

• Active NY State Medical LicenseRequired

• Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS Required
