We are seeking a highly qualified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a thriving and well-established practice located in a scenic area of eastern Iowa. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive care in a professionally managed facility with state-of-the-art equipment and resources.
Position Highlights:
- Specialty Focus: Approximately 30% Hematology and 70% Medical Oncology.
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Minimal after-hours call handled via phone only.
- Weekend requirements to be determined.
- Patient Volume: Average of 30 patients per day, primarily adult and geriatric.
- Support Team: Includes RNs, medical assistants, CNAs, and administrative staff.
- Hospitalist Support: Available for infusion care if needed.
- Collaborative Environment: Access to onsite radiation oncology services through a university partnership and a robust primary care referral network.
Facility and Community Features:

Candidate Requirements:
- Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology (within 5 years of residency).
- Licensing: Must hold or be eligible to obtain an Iowa medical license.
- Experience: Clean malpractice record preferred.
- Visa Status: Cannot accept visa candidates.
