JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical Center in Texas is seeking a BC/BE adult psychiatrist for the inpatient behavioral health hospital. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits offered. With the launch of our hybrid long-term forensic program for non-violent offenders, the ideal candidate will have an interest in caring for the initial acute care phase and also the rehabilitative process for this population. An option for outpatient clinic is available as well. HOSPITAL:Medical Center has just over 150-beds, includes acute care, critical access and behavior health services. A healthcare leader in the community for 65 years, the hospital hosts many services including state-of-the-art diagnostics, therapeutic and rehabilitative services, both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Patients have access to advanced technology including a new $1.5 million MRI and Interventional Cath Lab. There is also an 11,500 ft. birthing center with a Level II Nursery, and over 20 other surgical specialties. In addition, we offer a center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, as well as a Sleep Disorder Center and Home Health services.
