Med/Surg RN Job Details

• Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment
• Location: North Richland Hills, TX 76180 (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – On-Site
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1260 - $1350

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare setting

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the medical-surgical unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatments
• Administer medications and perform clinical procedures as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-discharge instructions
• Ensure a safe, compliant environment in accordance with hospital and healthcare standards
