We are seeking a Medical Oncologist with hematology experience for a locum tenens opportunity in Virginia. This assignment starts on Mar 16, 2026, runs for 60 days, and features a Monday through Friday schedule with 40 hours per week. Candidates with board certification in Medical Oncology and experience in rural health are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive hematology and medical oncology care to patients
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of hematologic and oncologic conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with advanced life support (ALS) protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Apply evidence-based practices in patient management

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Hematology and Medical Oncology required
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required
  • Licenses needed: Virginia and Tennessee
  • Rural health experience is a major plus
