Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr

Shift: 1st Shift 

What's the Job?

  • Ensure all production machinery operates at peak efficiency through regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Implement strategies for equipment maintenance and reliability to minimize downtime.
  • Mentor and train team members on proactive equipment care and routine checks.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and adhere to manufacturer recommended schedules.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED; Technical Training Certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Exceptional work ethic and time management skills.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
