Job Description

As a Security Guard - Aero Security Clearance in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and/or actions taken during patrols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required.
• Support emergency response efforts by guiding individuals to designated areas and providing information to first responders as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
