Overview
This is a civilian contractor CRNA opportunity supporting inpatient surgical and anesthesia services within a structured clinical environment. No military service required.
A Texas state license is required for this role.
Practice Highlights
• Full-scope anesthesia practice (general anesthesia, regional techniques, OB epidurals, and perioperative coverage)
• Work independently within defined clinical scope
• Self-scheduling model (flexibility based on coverage requirements)
• Pager call rotation required
• Long-term contract with potential to extend
• Credentialing timeframe approximately days
Candidate Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Current CRNA certification (AANA / NBCRNA)
• Active, unrestricted RN license and Texas APRN licensure (or eligibility support available)
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no online-only certifications)
• Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience in the last 3 years
• Competent in general anesthesia, epidural/spinal anesthesia, IV regional techniques, airway management, and perioperative evaluation/documentation
Schedule & Coverage
• Full-Time strongly preferred; local PRN candidates may be considered
• Flexible scheduling coordinated with clinical team needs
• Primary coverage in the OR with additional perioperative patient management responsibilities
• Expected to follow established clinical documentation and communication standards
