Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician with ARDMS and BLS certifications for a women's health office assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a women's health office specializing in OB/GYN sonography
- Perform transvaginal, anatomy, and transverse ultrasounds
- Schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM
- No call or on-call responsibilities required
- 13-week assignment with 10-hour day shifts
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
- Returning staff who were previously permanent employees must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted up front
- Compliance with strict credentialing requirements prior to start is necessary
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in OB/GYN sonography
- Current ARDMS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
