What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, including areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations to appropriate personnel to help to deter potential issues.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and observing entry and exit points as required by location protocols.
• Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow all Allied Universal and client site policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
