MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

First level manager of a work team typically without budget or hire/fire authority.

Focuses on mentoring, coaching, and coordination.

Responsible for overseeing the implementation of the most efficient layout of plant and its maintenance.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads a team of para-professionals responsible for maintenance of relevant facility / facilities ensuring that operating requirements, building codes and safety regulations are met.

Apply strong project management, communication, and organizational skills to interpret schematics, coordinate cross‑functional work, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of facilities initiatives.

Manage facilities policies, vendor qualifications, and contract approvals while ensuring alignment with QMS, EMS, FDA, and all other regulatory requirements.

Implement facility maintenance standards, inspection routines, and Lean/Six Sigma–driven continuous improvement practices to identify recurring issues and drive long‑term, root‑cause solutions.

Perform and supervise skilled maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and building systems to ensure reliability, uptime, and regulatory compliance.

Lead facilities planning, construction, space allocations, and maintenance operations through effective oversight of internal teams, contractors, and vendors.

The base pay for this position is $68,000.00 – $136,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
