Job Description:
Alina Telehealth is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist with an active New York medical license for a flexible telehealth position providing ECHO, EKG reading, and pager call coverage . This remote opportunity allows you to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care while maintaining meaningful clinical engagement from anywhere.
Position Details
Role Type: Telehealth (Remote)
Location: New York (License Required)
Schedule:
- 7 days per month (24-hour pager call coverage)
- ECHO and EKG reading coverage as assigned
- Providers are notified 30 days in advance of coverage dates
- EMR: Meditech
Responsibilities
ECHO Reading:
- Review and interpret echocardiograms per month .
- Provide final reports within a 24-hour turnaround .
EKG Reading:
- Interpret EKGs and provide timely documentation.
Pager Call Coverage:
- Respond to floor consults, ER calls, and internist inquiries regarding current patient conditions.
- Provide cardiology input and recommendations via phone.
- Maintain a 30-minute response time for all incoming calls.
Additional Duties:
- Document all consults and interpretations in the EMR (Meditech).
- Collaborate with onsite clinical teams as needed.
- Ensure compliance with quality and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted New York medical license .
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.
- Experience in ECHO and EKG interpretation, and telehealth consults preferred.
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
