- Procedures are not required.
- Hospitalist run the rapids and codes for the Hospital.
- ICU is closed with a designated Intensivist for the unit.
- Sub-specialty support is available in virtually every field, and, connected by air-bridge to the physician office building, offers a full array of diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
- Average 36-42/day, but patients are "tucked in" by day docs before nocturnist comes on so nocturnist answers calls on those patients, handles admissions and all hospitalists/nocturnists respond to Code Blues and Rapid Responses
