Newly renovated cancer center with competitive $425–550K base and Medical Director role. Full-time Medical Oncologist in Syracuse area, NY. Looking for a full-time Medical Oncologist at new Cancer Center. $425-550k base salary depending on experience; 4 days/week- clinic, I/P consultations and 1day/week Medical Director administrative responsibilities; 6 weeks PTO annually
? Candidate should be board eligible or certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology Oncology and must have a commitment to excellence in patient care, research and education.
? The Cancer Center will operate in a newly renovated facility designed to allow for a patient centered care experience, taking into account the various care needs of those seeking care.
? All essential cancer care services will be provided.
? The center will provide a complete array of Oncology services including Genetic Counseling, Access to National Clinical Trials, Chemo and Infusion Therapy Services, Immunotherapy, Pain Management, Palliative Care Services, Patient and Family Support Groups and Educational Services, and Advanced Tele-Health Services for timely and convenient access to specialists not on site.
? The campus will also have a start-of-the-art Radiation Oncology Treatment center, ensuring that patients will receive the most current and effective radiation therapy care.
? There will be access on campus to a Pet/CT, MRI and Computed Tomography (CT) simulator for treatment planning and follow up diagnostics.
? The center will have in place a tumor board whose function will be to oversee the care provided to patients of the center, ensuring it is of high quality, safe and appropriate.
