Job Description
American Traveler seeks a skilled RN with at least one year of recent specialty experience for a night shift position in a hospital telemetry/neurology/medical setting, requiring a MO or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Work in various hospital units including Medical, Neurology/Tele, Oncology, Clinical Observation, and Surgical departments
- Serve adult and potentially oncology and neurology patient populations
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Possible floating between units depending on staffing needs
- Up to 5 days of requested time off allowed but must be made up within the assignment
- Blocked scheduling may be allowed based on facility needs
- Candidates living within 50 miles are subject to local pay rules and contract duration limits
- After three consecutive 13-week local contracts, local candidates must take a one-year break or work at a different location outside the 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- At least 1 year of recent experience in relevant specialty
- All required certifications must remain valid for at least 30 days after assignment begins, or renewal documentation must be provided
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
