Location -William Street, NY & Float to Jersey City, NJ.
1 year Full time Contract
Shift -Mon– Fri 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs
Pay: $44/hr
Start date: ASAP
- The Registered Nurse must possess a valid license to practice in either the State of New York or the State of New Jersey and must possess at least one (1) year of experience in performing nursing assessments in occupational health and/or medical/surgical nursing.
- Assessments in connection with injury on duty evaluations, which includes obtaining doctors’ notes and test results
- Scheduling appointments for fitness for duty evaluations
- Annual physical evaluations
- Pre-placement physicals
- Participation in employee health wellness and safety fairs at various PA New York and New Jersey facilities
- Answer telephone calls and retrieve voicemail messages and respond accordingly
- Monitor Medical Assistants to ensure appropriate tests are administered, as required by DOT
- Review paperwork for accuracy and completion for the Physician or the Physician’s Assistant evaluation
- Ensure that all new hires are evaluated/assessed in a timely manner.
