The Emergency Medicine Physician provides urgent medical care, performing a wide range of procedures such as intubations and fracture reductions. Candidates must have an MD/DO degree with at least 2 years of emergency medicine experience and relevant certifications including Stroke Certification and board certifications by PA State and ABEM. The role covers patient care across all age groups within the scope of emergency medicine training.
- MD/DO with 2+ years of Emergency Medicine
- MUST have Stroke Certification, CPR, PA State & ABEM
- ATLS, ACLS, BLS and PALS are NOT required as long as BOARD CERTIFICATION requirements are met
- Procedures: (are not limited to) intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, I and D and other procedures that are within the scope of an emergency medicine residency trained physician & see all ages.
