RN - EP Lab
Job Details:
• Provide specialized nursing care in the EP Lab under general supervision
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Initiate, regulate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Interact with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge procedures
• Oversee treatment provided by technicians and other service providers
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• Must complete orientation and demonstrate ability to function independently in EP Lab
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)
• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
