ICU Travel Nurse Job Details- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025, End: 3/14/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: 10-bed Critical Care Unit
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- Location: Auburn, NY 13021 (New York ICU nursing jobs)
- Active RN license in New York State
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- AHA NIHSS certification and 6 CEUs on Stroke-related topics (completed before start date)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Willingness to float to Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Proctored EKG exam required on Day 1
- COVID vaccine not required (proof or declination accepted); Flu vaccine or declination required
- Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients in a 1:2 RN:patient ratio
- Manage ventilators, drips, arterial lines, and central lines
- Respond to medical codes and emergencies
- Document patient care using Allscripts, Paragon, or McKesson EMR systems
- Provide leadership as charge nurse when assigned
- Float to Medical-Surgical units as required
- Participate in ongoing education and maintain all required nursing certifications
