Overview: Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. - Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
- 2 years of experience Required
- ARDMS registered in at least 2 specialties Required
- BLS certified Required
- Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) is Preferred
