Spans between two practice sites
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM
Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM - Monday 8:00 AM
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Fellowship
Virginia medical license
BLS
AIUM certification - Highly Preferred
Required Procedures/Skills
Amniocentesis
Chorionic Villus Sampling
Cerclage - Highly Preferred
Pre-Eclampsia management
Multiple Pregnancy management
Growth Restriction
Chromosomal Abnormalities
Congenital Abnormalities
Pre-term Labor
Hypertension
Thrombophilia

Birth Defects
Vaginal Birth
Cesarean Birth
Management of any fetal or maternal co-morbidities that make pregnancy high risk
Assignment Details
Practice setting: Office and inpatient coverage
Average scheduled patients per day: 27
Number of physicians in practice: 1 per site
APP support: 1 NP rotating sites
Supervision: No supervision required
Exam rooms: 3
Onsite ultrasound: Yes (GE 10)
Support staff: RN clinic educator, sonographer, genetic counselor, front office team
Percentage of high-risk pregnancies: 95%
Percentage of low-risk pregnancies: 5%
Nursery level: III
EMR: EPIC, Viewpoint
Credentialing timeframe: 90 days
