Mon Health is growing and we're expanding our Emergency Medicine coverage. We are seeking a physician to provide care at Mon Medical Center (Morgantown, WV) as well as other locations such as Mon Harrison (completion date summery 2026 in Bridgeport, WV), Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital (Weston, WV), and Preston Memorial Hospital (Kingwood, WV).

This position is charged with the efficient and effective provision of emergency care and hospitalist services in the Emergency and Inpatient Departments of Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital consistent with established policies and procedures. The primary job functions are to resuscitate or stabilize patients, refer them to the appropriate medical departments for further evaluation and provide comprehensive clinical care in the inpatient setting. Follows and directs evidenced based practices as established within the Hospital service line. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.
Education:
1. Completed approved Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy residency program in a specialty such as Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Surgery, or Anesthesiology resulting in board eligibility or certification.
2. Licensed as a physician to practice medicine in the State of West Virginia.
3. Member in good standing of the Medical Staff of Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.
4. Credentialed and privileged to work in emergency medicine at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.
5. Hold valid DEA certificate without restrictions.
6. Current CPR certification.
7. Current ATLS certification, if not American Board of Emergency Medicine Certified.
8. ACLS and PALS required.
9. NRP recommended.
