ER RN Job Details – Albuquerque, NM

• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87106 (New Mexico healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing, On-Site

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36 (option for 48 hours available)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800
• Patient Ratios: 1:5
• Setting: Level I Trauma, Emergency Department

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NM or compact state; New Mexico RN jobs accepted; NM license can be pending at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (Level I Trauma preferred; 1.5 years with strong Level I experience considered)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC prior to submission), NIHSS (can be obtained before compliance due date)
• Travel nurse experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic charting preferred
• Willingness to float to Adult PCUs and ED Holding as needed
• No local candidates within 75 miles (targeting travel nurses nationwide)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted with documentation)

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
• Administer IV and other medications following the seven medication rights
• Accurately document and communicate clinical findings using Cerner
• Respond to trauma and resuscitation situations as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Manage a patient load of 1:5, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Float to Adult PCUs, ED Holding, and Trauma areas as required
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training
• Comply with hospital policies, including bar code medication scanning and documentation standards
