The MRI Technologist performs specialized MRI procedures to produce diagnostic images while providing essential patient care and ensuring MR safety. Candidates must hold relevant certifications such as ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT and have completed an accredited radiologic technology program. This role requires technical proficiency with MRI scanners, patient handling, and the ability to adapt to a clinical hospital environment.

Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime: The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.
Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program
Licensure/Certifications: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT 1 Advanced registry (MRI)- working in the area.
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree.
Other: IV Insertion· Technical skill in medical scanning, understanding of cross-sectional anatomy, and 3-D knowledge. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Manipulating equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients. Continual standing or walking. Adapt to stressful situations. Equipment Used: Should be proficient in the use of MRI Scanners, Power Injectors, workstations and Computers.
