Quality Support Tech – 6-12 month project. $23/hour+ depending on experience
We are looking for a high-energy Quality Support Tech to join the engineering team for one of our Stevens Point area clients. We need a "go-getter" who is ready to dive into their quality systems, own the documentation process, and keep data moving at the speed of production.
You will be the engine behind the Quality Department’s administrative and technical operations. Your day-to-day will involve:
Taking the lead on updating and digitizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ISO/IATF documentation
Entering critical quality metrics into WinSPC and other data collection platforms with speed and accuracy
Scanning and organizing high volumes of quality records to ensure document control is audit-ready
Diving into the "Reject Area" to conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory, ensuring every part is accounted for
Assisting in the update of Control Plans and identifying ways to streamline data entry workflows
Proven experience in data entry and document control
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
Bonus Points: Experience with WinSPC, PCDMIS, or CNC/CMM programming
You don’t wait for a task list; you see what needs to be done and you do it. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively without constant supervision
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills are a must. If you know Access, Visio, SharePoint, or SQL, you’ll have a significant head start
You understand (or are eager to learn) the rigors of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
Whether you are scanning documents or reconciling inventory, you notice the small things that others miss
