A locum tenens interventional cardiologist is needed in Georgia to provide short-term coverage involving STEMI call, nuclear and echo reads, patient consults, and rounding. The role requires 24-hour call availability during specified weekend shifts and collaboration with cath lab staff and nurses. Candidates must have in-state DEA registration, ACLS certification, and meet vaccination requirements to maintain clinical privileges.
Coverage Needed: 9/22 at 7am to 9/25 at 7am 10/27 at 7am to 10/30 at 7am Call availability; 24 hour call coverage for the weekend Clinical Information: STEMI call, echo and nuclear reads, consults and patient rounding also read nuclear stress test, echos and handle cardiology consults which would fall into the spectrum of care for an interventional cardiologist EMR: MediTech Support Staff: 2 Interventional Cardiologists, RN's, Cath Lab Team Required: ACLS DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active Current Flu Vaccine Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
